Hello there!
I’m Alyssa Martino, the face behind Robigalia.
Robigalia is a global plant pathology newsletter and community with thousands of members from 35+ countries.
I began writing Robigalia in the final year of my PhD to create a global community of plant pathologists.
I also wanted to support early-career researchers, especially those from low-socioeconomic backgrounds and developing countries.
To this end, I have dedicated my evenings and weekends to producing the newsletter and connecting with students to feature every week.
My mission has always been to build an inclusive, accessible community of plant pathologists worldwide.
That’s why I keep Robigalia free for those who cannot afford it.
To help sustain this mission, I have set up a support page on Patreon.
For a few dollars a month, you can support the ongoing production of the Robigalia Newsletter and the future production of the Robigalia Community.
I look forward to growing this network together.
